LEWISTON — St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center announces that Teresita Maguire, MD, has joined the staff. Maguire is an infectious disease specialist.

For the past few years, she has been a consultant for St. Mary’s and Central Maine Medical Center. As an employed physician, Maguire will see patients in the hospital and on an outpatient-basis at Sabattus Street Primary Care.

She is earned her medical degree from the University of the Visayas- Gullas College of Medicine, Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines. She completed residencies in medicine at the Department of Medicine, Cebu City Medical Center, Cebu Doctor’s College of Medicine Consortium, Cebu City, Philippines and at the Department of Medicine, Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. Maguire completed her fellowship at the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y.
