LIVERMORE FALLS — Music will fill the air at the Apple Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Livermore Falls Recreation Fields.

Performing will be Nickels and Dimes, aka Margaret Arsenault and James Littlefield of Jay, who write, sing and play country music; The Pinkhams (Travis Pinkham, Randall T. Pinkham Sr. and Pete Sanipas), who have traveled the state playing various venues since 2005; and Greater Purpose, an inspirational band whose heartfelt, original songs are based on members’ lives.

Also performing will be Barry Wood and Paul Bright. Wood has played most every state in New England over the past 60 years. His roots are in country, but he also plays soft rock, jazz and old standards. He has won numerous awards from the Down East and Maine Country Music associations and the North American Country Music Association, International ,in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. He has also played at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York with Les Paul.

Bright, who has been singing since age 5, performed on television, in lounges in the greater Boston area, and has given concerts for the University of Massachusetts, Eastern College Placement Officers, The Norlands and social and philanthropic groups. He performs yearly in the Myrtle Beach, S.C. area, Ontario and Maine. He sings a variety of pop, standard, country, folk and Christian music. Self-taught, Bright is considered to be an excellent finger-style rhythm guitarist. After retiring, he has performed regularly at the Wayne Community Church and other local events.

The festival, put on by the Jay, Livermore, Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce, will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
