FARMINGTON — Police say an Anson woman escaped with minor injuries after her vehicle rolled on Route 27 near the New Vineyard town line at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Ashley Warren, 25, was driving north in a 2001 Saturn when the vehicle in front of her slowed for an animal that dashed out into the road, Farmington Sgt. Michael Adcock said.
Warren swerved onto the shoulder, overcorrected and the car rolled and landed in a ditch on the southbound side of the road, he said.
A NorthStar Ambulance crew transported her to Franklin Memorial Hospital for an evaluation, Adcock said.
Balding tires probably contributed to the crash, he said. Warren was wearing a seat belt.
Farmington Fire and Rescue responded to help with traffic and clear glass and debris from the road.
