What Did I Do to Deserve this Turkey Gobbler Neck? I Can’t Die Today Because if Anyone Saw the State of My House, I’d Just Die. And, Feng Shui-ing the Double Wide.

These are but three chapters of Susan Poulin’s new book, “Finding Your Inner Moose: Ida LeClair’s Guide to Living the Good Life.”

Poulin of Eliot has written 10 plays, five of which revolve around her alter-ago, Ida LeClair. She stars in these one-woman shows, produced in collaboration with her husband, Gordon Carlisle, many of which have been staged at The Public Theatre in Lewiston. They are “Ida: Woman Who Runs With the Moose,” “Ida’s Havin’ a Yard Sale!” “A Very Ida Christmas,” “The Moose in Me, The Moose in You!” and her newest, “I Married an Alien!

In “Finding Your Inner Moose,” Ida draws upon her experiences as a daughter, sister, wife and best friend to offer hilarious advice on relationships, physical fitness, stress, housecleaning, work, shopping, fun and more.

“Finding Your Inner Moose,” a 256-page paperback, is available from Islandport Press at 846-3344 or www.islandportpress.com.
