LEWISTON — The board of directors of Androscoggin Bank announces that two well-known Maine business leaders have joined the board. Wendy I. Bean, C.P.A., and Jean E. Mattimore began their service Sept. 11.
Bean is a C.P.A. practicing in Manchester where she specializes in the taxation of individuals, trusts and estates. She has had a career in tax and trust management in Maine and New Hampshire and has served in a variety of community service and volunteer roles. She is a graduate of Thomas College.
Mattimore is a resident of Portland and was most recently the executive director of the Center for Career Development for the Maine Community College System. She has had a career in insurance, education and state government — serving as the Commissioner of Finance for the state of Maine from 1987-1989. She also currently serves on the board of trustees for the Maine Maritime Academy.
Androscoggin Bank has centers in Lewiston, Auburn, Brunswick, Gray, Jay, Lisbon Falls, Livermore Falls, South Paris, Turner and Portland.
