Gray-NG to host youth football tournament
GRAY — For the first time ever, Gray-New Gloucester Youth football is hosting the state football playoffs at the high school field on Sunday, Oct. 21.
The host team is a group of sixth graders with help from Grades 3-5. They went undefeated for the season.
Eighty youths participate in the Gray-NG team, headlined by the varsity youth squad with its 8-0 mark.
The playoff format is a one-day, single-elimination tournament starting at 8 a.m. and going all day long.
