1950 – 2012

LEWISTON — Donna M. Beggs, 62, of Lisbon, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Yarmouth on Jan. 28, 1950, the daughter of the late William and Merlyn (Leighton) Beggs.

She graduated from Yarmouth High School in the Class 1968. She then attended and graduated from Mercy School of X-ray in 1970. She worked many years at Pineland Center as an X-ray technician, where she enjoyed her work immensely. When Pineland Center closed down, she continued working for the state of Maine and had recently retired from her job as a disability examiner.

In all her jobs she was always known to play a prank or two. She had a truly great sense of humor, and she enjoyed going to yard sales, reading, cats, playing the saxophone, but most of all she loved spending time at camp with her family.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Kim Lausier of Lisbon; her grandson, Brandon O’Connor of Lisbon; her brother, Joseph Beggs and his wife, Julie, of New Gloucester; her former husbands, Charlie Lausier and Donald Nealley; many cousins, nephews and several dear friends.

She was predeceased by her parents.
