American Legion public supper
LIVERMORE FALLS — A public supper will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at American Legion Post 10.
Menu will include baked beans, macaroni and cheese, a variety of casseroles and desserts. Adults $7, children 12 and under $4.
The suppers are held every third Saturday, except for July or August.
Salem music show canceled
SALEM — The music show scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 21, at the Salem Community Building has been canceled due to furnace failure.
Paranormal Night is Oct. 27
WILTON — Everything Paranormal of New England will host Paranormal Night from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Wilton Historical Society, 10 Canal St.
A costume party and paranormal investigating will take place. The person with the best costume will win a night of investigating with E.P.N.E.
Tickets are $10 per person or $15 per couple. Space is limited. Proceeds will benefit the Wilton Historical Society.

Passport Dinner visits Canton, China
WILTON — Wilson Grange Passport Dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Wilson Grange, 1338 Main St., across from Shelly’s Hometown Market.
Cost is $12 per person. The Passport Dinner tour continues to Canton, China. Chef Frank has designed a menu that will transport attendees to the ancient city of Canton.
Menu includes Canton lemon chicken with stir fry bok choy with mushrooms and rice, a vegetarian option of mock duck and vegetable lo mein, and almond cookies with ginger ice cream.
