Estate planning, planned giving
WILTON — The Wilton Free Public Library will be hosting a presentation on estate planning and planned giving on Thursday, Oct. 18, beginning at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
Attorney Ronald Aseltine of Wilton, and Jim Nicholson of Nicholson, Michaud & Co., Waterville, will be speaking about estate planning and planned gifts to charitable organizations, including what legal documents are necessary, how an individual can assist in the planning of his/her estate and ways people can take advantage of state and federal tax laws to help a charitable institution.

Benefit supper for Ted Holland
FAYETTE — A benefit supper for Ted Holland, a Fayette Firefighter who has non-Hodgkins lymphoma, will be held at the Fayette School on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. There will be food, raffles and entertainment by the Maranacook String Band.
