BUCKFIELD — The Buckfield Junior-Senior High school gymnasium will be buzzing Saturday, Oct. 20, as 400 items and 200 gift certificates are auctioned by the Sumner Fire Department Auxiliary. It starts at 11 a.m.
Proceeds will be used to purchase a Jaws of Life hydraulic tool for the department.
Wilda Dunham and other auxiliary members have been successful in raising funds for various needs, including the helipad behind the town office.
Among the items to be auctioned are a recliner, a girls bicycle and a quilted wall hanging.
Refreshments will be sold and drawings start at 1 p.m. and tickets are $5 per sheet.
