Today we rarely find elected officials who are willing to work with people from across the aisle. In my mind, however, one person stands out.

Sen. Lois Snowe-Mello is a leader among leaders. As chairwoman of the Senate Marine Resources Committee, she strived for consensus. In the first session, more than 85 percent of the bills considered in the committee passed unanimously. In the second session, 100 percent passed unanimously.

Snowe-Mello is a consensus builder who will work with all parties involved to get the best result for the people of Maine.

I strongly support Lois Snowe-Mello for Maine Senate District 15.
