Though Barak Obama and his sordid band of czars consistently abuse freedom of speech to apologize for America’s excellence and dispense their endless stream of lies and half-truths, it is still a blessing that freedom still exists.

Maine voters will soon decide whether to redefine the word and concept of marriage. I think it necessary, while the press retains remnants of free speech, to reiterate some eternal truths for the benefit of any apathetic, misguided or amoral citizens among us.

Homosexuality, adultery, pre-marital sex, pedophilia, sadism, bestiality, etc., are all perversions of moral and natural law for humans. They are sinful choices rooted in lust and self-centeredness.

Pro-gay television ads exclaim that religious institutions and other groups have nothing to fear in regard to losing their rights and principles. This is a blatant lie. In every state where gay marriage has been legalized, there have been individuals sued, persecuted or fired for holding to the transcendent, normative standard given by God.

The sacred bond of marriage can only exist between a man and a woman. Rejecting this defining standard does not indicate one’s enlightened intelligence. It intimates the opposite.

To discover what gay people really want, people should visit their Web sites, read the homosexual manifesto, learn the goals of NAMBLA or attend a gay-pride parade. They don’t want true freedom. They want license.

Equal rights? That’s a straw man argument.
