MONMOUTH — A memorial service was held Saturday for Daniel L. Plourde at Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home. The Rev. Rick Ness officiated at the service. Readings were from Word on the Street Nos. 1, 2, and 3. The poem “Pacesetter” and a letter to Danny from his Mom, Lynn was read by Pastor Ness. Memories were shared by the love of his life, Jamie Russell, his sister, Michelle Plourde, his brother, Mike Plourde and friends. His brother Mike played the guitar and sang Elton John’s song “Daniel.” Everyone joined hands and listened to “And I Know,” a song that Danny wrote and sang.
