FALMOUTH — Dorothy C. Easton, 90, of Falmouth, formerly of Norway, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Sedgewood Commons.

She was born in Alden, N.Y., Aug. 31, 1922, daughter of Carl E. and Dorothy J. (Connell) Schmedlin.

Dorothy graduated from the University of Buffalo, she was trained in classical music and had a nursing degree. She married Robert Easton, who had a dental practice in Norway for many years and Dorothy was the bookkeeper.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church in South Paris and a member of the school board for the Oxford Hills District.

She is survived by her six children, Jonathan Easton, Emily Easton, Robin Easton, Chris Easton, William Easton and Mark Easton; and four grandsons, Jeremy, Erin, Luke and Jacob.

She was predeceased by her husband April 5, 1985; and brother, John Schmedlin.
