Twin Cities voters will get an extra day Saturday to vote early.

Early-voting polling places will be open in Auburn Hall and Lewiston City Hall from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

New residents, with photo IDs and proof of residency, may register to vote at the city clerks’ offices and can pick up absentee ballots. They can fill out that ballot and hand it in there, or take it home and return it later.

Voters have until Thursday, Nov. 1, to register for absentee ballots. Both clerks’ offices will stay open until 7 p.m. on the last day. Voters may return their absentee ballots at any time before Election Day.

Auburn residents with election questions may contact the City Clerk’s Office at 333-6601. Lewiston residents with questions may call 513-3124.
