In my life so far, I have seen my country go to war and struggle with an enormous economic crisis. These events affect my generation’s future; we already feel the effects as we further our educations and start our careers. I am tired of watching bickering politicians obstruct true progress in this country.

Electing Angus King to the U.S. Senate will make a strong statement that the people of Maine and this nation are ready to move beyond partisanship and start rebuilding the country. King understands the issues and offers independent, pragmatic ideas about how officials could start to fix the broken system.

I have served as an intern for the King campaign and have seen that he is a person of integrity by running such a positive campaign. He is a strong leader who will serve Maine well.

I will be voting for Angus King.
