Residents of Greenwood, West Paris, Waterford and Norway have the opportunity to elect an exceptional individual as their state representative this year in District 95 – Mary Lou St. John of Norway.

She knows what it is like to struggle in tough economic times, to return to school as an adult, and to spend many years assisting people in this region through her work at Community Concepts.

She will do a great job for the district and, as a Democrat, will help restore balance to things in Augusta. Maine does not need more of the right-wing LePage policies that have raised insurance rates for older adults in rural areas, ignored job creation, and provided unpaid tax cuts to the wealthy — all priorities supported by the Republican Party.

I will be voting for Mary Lou St. John on Nov. 6.
