RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Jeannette T. Knox was celebrated on Monday at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt as celebrant. Altar assistant was Bernard Poirier and organist was Mark Belanger. Readings were given by sister-in-law, Nila Martineau and niece, Jackie Kilbreth. The eulogy was given by daughter, Estelle Gill and sons, Rudolph and Gary Houde. Gift presenters were sister, Yvette LeBlanc and her husband, Lee Roy. Prayers of the faithful were given by brother, Donald Martineau. Music selections were “Hosea,” “The Old Rugged Cross,” “Ave Maria” and “Fly Like a Bird.” Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Vaillancourt and interment was at the Greenwood Cemetery, Dixfield. Bearers were family members: daughter, Marie Estelle Gill and husband, Peter, sons, Rudolph and Gary Houde, brother-in-law, Lee Roy LeBlanc and brother, Marcel Martineau. A reception followed in the parish hall of the church. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
