An open house/reception will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, for an exhibition of Don Waterhouse’s photographs at SugarWood Gallery in Farmington. Waterhouse specializes in landscape and nature scenes in Maine, in particular the Franklin County area. He has also photographed scenes in other parts of New England, the Maritimes of Canada and additional Northeastern states. He is president of the Franklin County Arts and Crafts Association and a board member with Upcountry Artists. A retired journalist, he lives in New Sharon with his wife, Anita. His artwork will remain on display and for sale at SugarWood at 248 Broadway throughout November. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
