MEXICO — A local man remained in jail Wednesday, two days after being charged with domestic assault.

Michael Wolf, 35, 205 Main St. was arrested Monday after police responded to a domestic violence call at 7:11 p.m. at his home, Lt. Roy Hodsdon said. Wolf is being held at the Oxford County Jail in Paris and is set to appear in Oxford County Superior Court there Dec. 14.

The Police Department responded to 41 complaints from Oct. 24-30. Among the incidents were the following:

Thefts:

* A Sun Valley Circle resident reported at 3:01 p.m. Oct. 28 that someone stole her debit card and spent an undisclosed amount of money.

* A series of burglaries were reported at 1:41 p.m. Oct. 27 of the Naples Storage Sheds on River Road. Someone entered three storage sheds by cutting the locks sometime between 8 p.m. on Oct. 26 and noon Oct. 27.  The owner of one shed was reportedly missing building materials valued at $300. Police could not reach the owners of the other two sheds.
