LIVE OAK, Fla. — Percy A. Grant Jr., 84, son of Percy Sr. and Capitola Grant, died Oct. 29.

He was was born in Mechanic Falls in 1928. He was a pastor and missionary in the Advent Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; sister, Florence Mitchell; children, Percy Grant III, Sheryl Simmons and Melody Varieur and their spouses; stepchildren, Mala Magee and Robert Britton and their spouses; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
