PHILADELPHIA — Dr. Eric Pelletier, originally from Lewiston, was named assistant professor of physical therapy at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

Dr. Pelletier most recently worked as a physical therapist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He has also served in similar roles at the Pediatric Therapy Center in Rockville, Md., and at the Hospital for Sick Children in Washington, D.C.

He earned his doctor of physical therapy from Temple University, and a master of physical therapy degree and a bachelor of science degree from Boston University.

Dr. Pelletier resides in Montgomeryville, Pa., with his wife and their sons.

The University of the Sciences is a private institution dedicated to education, research and service, and distinguished as the nation’s first college of pharmacy. It was founded in 1821.
