RANGELEY — RSU 78 voters on Tuesday approved establishing July 1 as the date new school directors will begin their terms. The vote was 927-95.

Rangeley voters approved the measure, 600-54.

Dallas Plantation residents also favored it, 207-15.

Rangeley Plantation voted 42-5 and Sandy River voted 72-13 to approve the measure.

Residents in Magalloway Plantation in Oxford County voted 6-8 to reject the July 1 start.

Sandy River voted 72-13 to approve it.
