GRAY — The wedding of Amie C. Thibodeau and Craig A. Nickel was held on Sept. 8 in Gray. Misty Kashmer, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Nickel is the daughter of Janine Thibodeau of Lewiston and George Heck of Vientiane, Laos. Mr. Nickel is the son of Richard and Gail Nickel of Buckfield.

The bride, escorted down the aisle by Jeb Murphy, long-time friend, wore an ivory satin gown with beaded embellishment and carried a bouquet of purple hydrangea with ivory Calla lilies and green orchids.

Attendants for the bride were Crystal Small, sister of the bridegroom, and Amanda Pulkkinen, Katie Lutts and Mia Kelleher, friends of the bride. Riley Small, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Best men were Brian Nickel, brother of the bridegroom, and Chris Grondin, friend of the bridegroom. Ushers were Matt Simoneau and Chris Fortier, friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at Stonehedge in Gray, after which the couple traveled to Lincolnville along the Maine coast. They are residing in Auburn.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Western New England College School of Law. She is employed as a closing attorney for Great East Title Services.

The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Jay High School and is employed in quality assurance at Wal-Mart Distribution Center.
