1935 – 2012

TURNER — Agnes Kathleen Bisson, 77, died unexpectedly Nov. 16 at her home.

She was born in Auburn on Oct. 2, 1935, the daughter of Andrew and Angie (Jordan) Giddings.

She grew up in the Auburn area and attended Auburn schools. She was married to Jean Lucien Bisson on Aug. 16, 1952.

She loved being with her family and also enjoyed cooking, bingo and crocheting. Agnes and her husband, Jean Lucien, raised their family in Auburn and Turner before retiring and moving to Florida for 10 years. They returned to Turner in 2005.

She worked many years at local shoe mills, and while in Florida she worked at Disney World for many years. After returning from Florida, she drove for Community Concepts for several years.

Everyone who met Aggie instantly fell in love with her. She had a very calming and reassuring way about her. In her later years she enjoyed feeding and watching the birds out her window. She had a very special bond with her dog, Missy, who will miss her terribly.

Aggie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jean Lucien Bisson of Turner; eight children, Linda and her husband, Gene Allison, of Louisiana, Nancy Bisson of Lewiston, Mike Bisson and his wife, Karen, of Turner, Roger Bisson and his wife, Susan, of Monmouth, Elaine Walker of Lewiston, Brian Bisson and his wife, Ellen, of Lewiston, Malcolm Bisson and his wife, Camille, of Vermont, and Tom Bisson and his wife, Kelley, of Turner.
