NORWAY — Friday, Nov. 30, is the chance for children of all ages to visit with Santa in Norway.

At 5:15 p.m. the fire trucks will lead Santa’s musical sleigh down Norway Main Street from Cumberland Farms to the Advertiser. They will then take a left onto Pikes Hill and a right onto Water Street and meet participants at Butters Park by the flag pole and Norway’s ‘Christmas Trees.’

The Universalist Church bells will chime and Christmas songs will be provided by the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Chorus led by Dennis Boyd. Santa will light the Christmas trees with his magic dust.

After the tree lighting, Santa and Mrs. Claus will ride their sleigh of lights back to the Norway Fire Station. Participants will read a story with Santa and Mrs. Claus, have pictures taken and enjoy refreshments. The books Santa and Mrs. Claus read will be given to two lucky children.

There is no cost. For more information contact Norway Parks & Recreation Director Deb Partridge at 743-6651 or [email protected].
