AUBURN — Central Maine Conditioning Clinic Inc., 30 Belgrade Ave., has added an athletic trainer to its health and wellness sports medicine clinic. Sarah Chamberlain started with the clinic earlier this year.
Chamberlain is 2011 graduate from University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training and 2012 graduate from California University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Science degree in athletic training. She has experience with injury evaluations and management, in addition to athletic training for varied sports events. She is certified by the National Athletic Training Board of Certification, a member of the Maine and National Athletic Trainer Association, is certified by the American Red Cross as a professional rescuer, and is a certified functional movement screen exercise professional.
Prior to joining CMCC Inc., she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer for California University of Pennsylvania where she covered Division II Track and Field, Cross Country and Tennis athletics.
Central Maine Conditioning Clinic Inc. is a holistic sports medicine approach that has a strong focus on conditioning and preparing a person/employee for the accomplishment of a goal or task. It has been in business since 1991 and is owned by Robert H. Brainerd Jr. and Pamela W. Edgecomb, both of Lewiston.
