The Maranacook String Band and the Christ Temple Praise Dancers will give a concert on Saturday, Dec. 8, benefiting Bread of Life Ministries, which provides a soup kitchen, homeless shelters, and transitional and permanent housing. The performance will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Masonic Building, 317 Water St., Augusta. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and children 12 and younger; $20 for families. Tickets will be limited to the first 200 sold at the door; doors open at 5:30 pm.
