Key Loses: Ian Durgin, Korey Mulherin, Nils Fichtner, Elijah Lamothe.

Promising Newcomer: Freshman —   Kevin Knight (Defense).

Season Outlook: The biggest positive coming into the season for Leavitt is the goaltender. Last year, Nick Allen was in net for the first time in his career. He should be more comfortable in net to lead the Hornets to a winning record. Offensively, Tyler Hutchinson and Jacob Gladu will be the go-to guys.

Coach’s comment: “Leavitt is returning all but one forward and three
of the six defensemen are also returning. More importantly, we are
not starting the season without a goalie, as Nick Allen is returning
for a second season in net. Our strength will up front, particularly
with our speed and scoring ability. Our blue line will include a few
new faces, but we have two experienced players in Devin (McMahan) and Clay (Rowland).” — Coach Dave Boucher
