MERIDEN, Conn. — Sylvia R. Nadeau Morin, 73, of South Meriden, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, at MidState Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of 53 years of Paul P. Morin.
She was born in Lewiston, July 5, 1939, a daughter of the late Alphonse Nadeau and the late Gloria Simmoneau Nadeau Daignault. She was a Meriden resident for more than 40 years and had a summer cottage in Holland, Mass. She had been employed by Warner’s Pharmacy for 15 years before her retirement many years ago. She was a parishioner of Holy Angels Church in South Meriden.
Besides her husband Paul, she is survived by her son, Michael Morin and his wife, Patricia and Suzanne Mroczka and her husband, David, all of Meriden; her grandchildren, Eric Morin, Michelle Morin, Daniel Mroczka, and Katelyn Mroczka; her sisters, Therese Bourgoin, Claudette Vaillancourt, Lorraine Fournier, Madeline Theriault, Marianne Bergeron and her husband, Richard, Anita Bedard and her husband, Robert, Jacqueline Demers and Doris Thibodeau and her husband, Richard, her brothers, Maurice Nadeau and his wife, Claudette, Raymond Nadeau and his wife, Anita and Gerald Nadeau and his wife Linda, all of the Lewiston area; her sister-in-law, Constance Carney and her husband, George and her brother-in-law, Marc Plante, all of Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers-in-law, Louis Vaillancourt, Norman Fournier, Paul Theriault and Marcel Demers.
