RUMFORD — Indoor walking opportunities will help people stay active during the cold winter months ahead.

Local options include: Greater Rumford Community Center, 369-9906, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9-11 a.m.; Mexico Rec. Center, 364-4912, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to noon; Dirigo High School, 562-4251, Monday through Friday, 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.; Mountain Valley High School, 364-4547, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Telstar High school, 824-2136, Monday through Friday, 6:15 to 7:15 a.m. and 2:30 to 7 p.m.; and Region 9 School of Applied Technology, 364-3764, Monday through Friday, 6 to 8 a.m.
