This is in response to the article featuring the Lewiston High School cheering team (Dec. 7).

At what point will the Sun Journal remember that a good many of its readers reside in Auburn and send their children to Edward Little? Edward Little, too, has a cheering team that, as a side note, does not pay for its routines. Members of the team work hard at being creative on their own to come up with new material to wow their fans.

As a parent of an Edward Little student and cheerleader, I am, once again, disappointed in the Sun Journal. I have many friends with children on the LHS team, as well, and enjoy reading about them, but it would be a pleasant surprise if the newspaper shared equal time to each public high school.
