POLAND — Jeri and Greg Bartley of Poland and Peter DeCosta of Lawrence, Kansas, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Martina Ann DeCosta of Lewiston, to Stephen B. Hairston of Lewiston.

The future bride attended Edward Little High School and is currently enrolled in classes to further her education. She is employed at Dunkin Donuts on Main Street in Lewiston as the store manager/director of operations for her network. She has been with the company for 15 years.

The future bridegroom attended Edward Little High School and is currently enrolled in classes to further his education. He has been owner/operator of a property management company for the past 20 years.

The couple met in year 2000. Miss DeCosta has two sons, Devyn DeCosta and Dylan Wood. Mr. Hairston has three sons, Derek Messenger, Sergio Hairston and Denzel Hairston. They also “adopted” a son, Alf Brooks. The couple completed their family with a daughter, Taryn Hairston.

The couple became engaged in October and they plan to get married on May 5.
