LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Joseph A. Boucher was celebrated Monday by the Rev. Marc Caron at Holy Family Church of the Prince of Peace Parish following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. At the entrance to St. Peter’s Cemetery, a Lewiston Public Works delegation stood at attention along side their vehicles as a tribute in honor of Mr. Boucher. Committal prayers were then recited by Father Caron followed by the U.S. Air Force Honor Detail playing “taps” and presented our country’s flag to Joseph’s wife, Rita in honor of her husband’s service to his country during the Korean Conflict. Pallbearers were Dave, Danny, Brooks and Luke Boucher, as well as Marcel and Moe Morin. At the conclusion of services, all were invited to a reception of fellowship at the Chick-a-Dee Restaurant.
