LEWISTON — Roger Giguere, 86, of Gayton Road in Lewiston, died Dec. 16, at Marshwood Center.

He was born in Lewiston, Oct. 16, 1926, the son of Rosario and Anna Giguere. He joined the Army and Air Force and had been employed by the woolen Hill Mill, until he retired.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and attending family outings. He enjoyed playing the violin and organ. He was also a mechanic and enjoyed painting vehicles. He was a very caring person.

He is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Currier and companion, Robert Huntington, of Turner and Sandy and husband, Paul Collins, of Turner; a son, Donald Giguere of Lolo, Mont.; a stepdaughter, Diane Ingrisano of Venice, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Roger was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine; two brothers, Roland and Marcel; and an infant son, Raymond.
