Twin City Cup

LEWISTON —    Lewiston and St Dom’s Academy Middle school Hockey teams will face off as part of the Lewiston vs St Dom’s rivalry black and blue games on Saturday December 22nd at 4:10 p.m. in the third annual “Twin City Cup” The Middle school teams compete for the cup that will reside in the winning schools library for the year. Lewiston Blue Demons have won the first two contests.

SAM Red wins two

The Sam Red Peewee team won two games recently against the Twin City Titans Orange and the Midcoast White team.

Sam Red defeated Twin City Titans 6-1. Mike Eno and Jon Zack each had two goals while Luke St. Hilaire, and  Derek Malinowski each had a goal. Keegan Chote had two assists, while Eno, St. Hilaire, Jared Shaw, and Logan Leadbetter each had and assist.  Tyler Wall scored the lone goal for the Twin City Titans Orange team.

In the second game SAM Red got two goals from Jon Zack and Jonah Bergeron. Hannah Johnson, Derek Malinowski, Connor Albison and Cody Rizzo capped off the scoring in the 8-2 victory over Midcoast White. Zack had two assists with Luke St. Hilaire, Davis Ballou, Mike Eno, and Logan Leadbetter each notching one assist. Midcoast goals came from Nolan Condon and Griffin Johnson. Recording assists for Midcoast were Jack Buthy and Quinn Solberg.
