MILTON TOWNSHIP — Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dunn of Milton Township are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jade Michaele, to Joseph Christopher Costello, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Costello, of Windsor, N.Y.

Ms. Dunn is a graduate of Mountain Valley High School, Bowdoin College, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology and dance, and Boston College, where she earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology. Ms. Dunn worked for three years as a corporate paralegal at Simpson, Thacher and Bartlett, LLC, in New York City and as a graduate assistant at City Connects in Chestnut Hill, Mass., during her studies at Boston College. She is presently employed as a school counselor and athletic coach at Springfield High School in Springfield, Vt., and works as a freelance journalist.

Mr. Costello is a graduate of Windsor High School, Lafayette College and Fordham University School of Law, J.D. He twice piloted international sustainable development projects in Ghana, Africa, as a Leitner Fellow and later as a Donald J. Feerick Fellow. Following law school, he joined the Feerick Center for Social Justice in New York, N.Y., as a Dean’s Fellow, where he concentrated on consumer law and advocacy. Mr. Costello is presently employed as an associate with Marchica Law Office, LLC, in Springfield, Vt.

The couple met through a study abroad program in Galway, Ireland, in the fall of 2005. They plan to marry in Vermont in August, 2013.
