LEWISTON — Lucienne “Lucy” M. Belanger, 82, of Hogan Road, Lewiston, died Saturday, Dec. 29, at Central Maine Medical Center surrounded by her favorite niece, Janet Page, great-niece, Jill Page and Jill’s fiancé, Paul Gay.
She was born March 22, 1930, in St. Anne, La Pocatier, Quebec,Canada. Lucy was the ninth child of the late Alphonse and Eva (St. Pierre) Belanger.
Lucy never married and she was fiercely independent in her views and although she had a sharp wit with ready answers, she had a heart of gold. She was very sympathetic and unselfish to those who knew her well.
She is survived by her sisters, Simone Larkin and her husband, Laurette, and Eva Gilbert; her brothers, Rene, Roland and Jean; her favorite nephew, Michael Grover and his wife Lianne; his brother-in-law, Bill Larkin Sr.; as well as many nieces and nephews.
