1976 – 2013
TOGUS — Rickey R. Lizotte, 36, of Turner passed away Friday, Jan. 11, at the Togus Veteran’s Adminstration Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Lewiston, April 17, 1976, son of Richard and Avis Smith Lizotte.
He was educated in Oxford Hills schools and graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1995.
As a youngster, he was employed at area farms in Turner.
Rickey proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1995 to 2008 and was discharged as a staff sergeant. He was stationed in numerous countries but served in Bosnia and Iraq.
He was an avid Red Sox fan and thought very little of anyone who wasn’t.
He is survived by his father and a sister, Tammy, both of Hebron; three aunts; an uncle; and many cousins and dear friends.
