ANSWER: The original shot by photographer Russ Dillingham was taken digitally and is no more than pixels on a computer. But you can get a print.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I enjoy reading your column every day. I noticed in the Your Health column at the bottom of the Advice page that a new doctor is answering readers’ question. I am wondering what happened to Dr. Paul Donohue? — C.G., Lewiston

ANSWER: Dr. Donohue is enjoying his well-deserved retirement after more than 30 years of answering medical questions. Dr. Roach has taken over the column, and it will continue to appear in the Sun Journal.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Would you or your readers know where I might be able to purchase a shoehorn? Years ago you got them when you purchased a pair of shoes, but that isn’t the case today. Thank you for any help you might be able to give me. — P.D., Mexico

ANSWER: Sun Spots mailed you a couple that she had coincidentally just tossed into her “for Goodwill” box, including one from a hotel (which also used to give them away free). They are nothing fancy, however. Medical supply stores sell special extra-long versions for people who aren’t supposed to bend over.  You might also look in the foot care section of your local drugstore or in a shoe store such as Lamey-Wellehan.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am looking for Joanne Stormann Littlefield. I lost contact with her but saw her husband’s obit in your paper. Would it be possible for you to get a message to her? I knew her from sixth through 10th grade and stayed at her house summers in my 11th and 12th grades. I would be very grateful.
