My father-in-law said his mother’s way of making fish chowder included this important ingredient. Is it French for the type of fish, maybe? Thank you. — No Name via email

ANSWER: In her Rolodex, Sun Spots has Maine Vintage & Consignment at 18 Main St., Lisbon Falls, www.mainevintageconsignment.com, 353-2216. If other stores are willing, please write to the column.

Another option is to use eBay or etsy.com (the website for crafters and artists to sell their products), which have lower commission fees and more potential buyers. Of course, you may have trouble selling them as one lot that way, and you will need to manage collecting the money through PayPal and ship the merchandise.

You cannot sell items through this column, which is why Sun Spots withheld your email address.
