AUBURN — Richard R. Desjardins, 67, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, at Clover Health Care.
Richard was born in Lewiston, June 10, 1945, to Roger and Annette.
He attended Lewiston schools and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed boating, camping, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and cars.
Before being disabled, he worked at Bath Iron Works, Steel Service Center, Pioneer Plastics, St. Laurent and Sons and Law’s Nursery. He operated cranes and backhoes and drove trailer trucks.
Richard is survived bt three sons, Tony Defosse and his wife, Dee-Ann, Randy Defosse and his companion, Roberta and Daniel Defosse and his wife, Jacqueline and six grandchildren, Magen, Tyler, Ashley, Nathan, Kaitlyn and Danielle, all of Rhode Island; also one aunt, Lorena Desjardins; and several cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Gerard.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Clover Health care and Androscoggin Hospice Care for the excellent care they gave Richard.
