Guests will learn about wine choices and pairings to complement a variety of foods including desserts. Susan Hall from The Vault and Edmond Gay from the Franco-American Heritage Center will present the wine and food pairings.

Hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be prepared by Mother India, Hannaford of Auburn, Wei Li, The Bread Shack, Grant’s Bakery and other local restaurants. Members of the Androscoggin Chorale under the direction of John Corrie will provide love-inspired music.

A raffle will be held for a 40” LCD HDTV, a cash prize, and a gift certificate to a local restaurant. Raffle tickets are available through Chorale members, at LA Arts and at the door.

The event will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in Heritage Hall at the Center, 46 Cedar St. Tickets, $25 in advance/$30 at the door, may be purchased by calling LA Arts at 782-7228; at The Vault, 84 Lisbon Street; or online at www.mainemusicsociety.org.

Proceeds will support programs of the Maine Music Society. Upcoming concerts include Handel’s “Messiah” to be performed by the Androscoggin Chorale and the Maine Music Society Orchestra on April 6 and 7 at the Franco center.
