Enrichment classes listed

TURNER — A brand new season of MSAD 52 Adult Education enrichment classes starts the week of Feb. 11. Many popular favorites are returning including tumbling, snowmobile safety, Spanish, French, computers for seniors, how money works, basic welding, Zumba, adult CPR, AED, first aid and Pilates.

Brand new selections include identity piece, chair yoga, powerful presentations, painting landscapes, shoe creation, homemade cheesemaking, pottery for beginners, user friendly Web design, cardio sweat, beginning guitar and hatha yoga.

Bridge Club winners named

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners on Feb. 4 at the Lewiston Armory were as follows: first, Cynthia and Bill Clifford; second, Dick Allen and Pete Cummings; third, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe.

Tuesday winners were: first, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe; second, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; third, Jeanine Kivus and Rosemarie Goodwin.

Games are played every Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Seniors Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is always guaranteed.

Veggies by Day at Legion

SABATTUS — The Veggies by Day will be playing at Harry J. Conway Post 135, hosted by the Legion Riders, from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Feb. 16.

Tickets may be purchased at the post after 6 p.m. on Fridays. Cost is $5, or $7 at the door. For more information call Joe at 713-8258.

Art Club focus on valentines

AUBURN — The Auburn Art Club will meet at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at the Park Avenue Methodist Church. The program will focus on Valentine’s Day, its history and various customs associated with that day.

Members are asked to bring a special valentine to share with the members. It might be funny, sentimental, hand made, old or new.

Chairman of the committee is Dorothy Prince. She will be assisted by Kay Little, Donna Manson and Barbara Randall.

All members are encouraged to attend.
