Tracing Your Roots, Tuesdays, Feb. 12, 19 and 26. Instructor Carroll Holmes will work with participants individually using several genealogical websites to find people on their family tree. Time choices are 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. and 3 to 4 p.m.

The 10 Signs of Dementia, 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Feb. 11. Instructor, Bill Kirkpatrick, Alzheimer’s Association. To register call the Alzheimer’s Association at 1-800-272-3900. Learn the warning signs of Alzheimer’s, as well as the benefits of early detection and early diagnosis.

Armchair Travel: Ireland, 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Feb. 19. Instructor Barbara Randall will share her slides and stories of Ireland.

Maine Author Series will feature award-winning journalist Bill Nemitz, with the topic “The Way Life Should Be… One Story at a Time: Reflections on 35 Years as a Maine Journalist,” from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25.

What Do You Know about Volunteering?, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26. Instructor Heather Chandel of SeniorsPlus will discuss local volunteering opportunities, both on-going and one time.

Medicare Basics, 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Feb. 27. Instructor Roland Bussiere of SeniorsPlus will share the basics and timelines of this complex system, learn when you need to sign up for what and ways to save money.

SeniorsPlus serves as the local Area Agency on Aging and Aging and Disability Resource Center for Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford Counties. SeniorsPlus provides a network of support, information, services and resources for older adults and adults with disabilities and their families.
