WALES — Parker Asselin sparked an 11-5 run in the fourth quarter that allowed Oak Hill to seal a 43-36 win over Monmouth in late-season girls’ basketball action Thursday.

Asselin led the Raiders (7-11) with 13 points, including four in that key fourth frame.

Trever Samson chipped in with seven points in a balanced attack.

The Mustangs (6-12) were paced by Brandon Goff with 13 points, while Billy Cummings tallied nine and Marcques Houston added eight.

Greenville 57, Rangeley 24

RANGELEY — After sprinting out to a commanding 22-6 advantage in the first frame, Greenville kept up the pace and hustled to a 57-24 romp over Rangeley in EWC boys’ action Thursday.

Matthew Deangelo led Greenville (15-3) with 15 points, while Howie Stone tallied 14.

The Lakers (2-15) were paced by Michael Hayley with 12 points, while AJ Elmes added eight.

Lisbon 53, St. Dom’s 37

LISBON — Lisbon erupted for 17 points in the opening frame Thursday and hustled home to a 53-37 win over St. Dom’s in a KVAC boys’ basketball tilt.

Tucker Brannon led the Greyhounds (5-13) with 15 points, while Kyle Sheehan added 12, including eight in that key first quarter.

The Saints (8-10) were paced by Matt Dyer with 10 points, while Nick Hatfield chipped in with eight.

Oxford Hills 55, Mt. Blue 51

FARMINGTON — Luke Davidson scored 21 points while Jake Plummer and Andrew Fleming each added 11 to lead Oxford Hills to a 55-51 win over Mt. Blue in boys’ KVAC basketball Thursday.

Mt. Blue got 17 from Kindle Bonsall and 13 from Charlie Martin.

Trailing 29-26 at the half, the Vikings outscored the Cougars 15-11 in the third and 14-11 in the fourth to earn the win.

Spruce Mountain 75, Telstar 45

BETHEL — John McKenna paced the Spruce Mountain boys’ basketball team to a 75-45 victory over Telstar Thursday night with 18 points.

Scottie Hall provided secondary scoring for the Phoenix with 13 points including three three pointers. Nick Mills led all scorers with 22 points for Telstar. Teammate Mike DelDuca had 16 points.

Fryeburg 63, Poland 38

POLAND — Fryeburg opened the fourth quarter with a 16-2 run and finished the season with a 63-38 win over Poland in boys’ basketball Thursday.

Bright Amoako led the Raiders (10-8) with 21 points while Walker Mallory added 11. Poland (4-14) got eight from Alan Young and seven from Josh Gary.
