TURNER — Singer

and accompanist Jerry Ellis will be appearing in the first of three Cabin Fever Concerts at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Turner Center Universalist Church.Using their familiar cabaret format which draws from a broad range of musical genres, they will be performing new material as well as audience favorites.

Libby, a Turner native, has performed in several venues in New York City and Connecticut with his cabaret-style show, warming hearts with his charismatic personality and thrilling with his extraordinary voice and stage presence.

Ellis, another Turner native, has graced the area with his talented piano playing, both solo and as an accompanist in churches and a variety of appearances throughout Maine. Both men grew up in musical families that got together to make music from the time they were young.

The other concerts in this series will take place in March and April. Donations from the three concerts will be accepted to help maintain the Turner Center Universalist Church, Route 117, Turner.
