LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of Daniel J. Isabel was celebrated Thursday morning at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul by the Rev. Marc Caron and concelebrated by the Rev. Maurice Morin, following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home.

Upon arriving at church, the Fourth Degree Holy Family Assembly honor guard met Daniel’s funeral procession at the entrance of church and led their fellow knight into church for the last time. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by both Ann and Emma Chabot. Also in attendance was a delegation from the Holy Name Society.

Following Mass, committal prayers were recited by Deacon Irenee Richard at St. Peter’s Cemetery. The Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus then paid a final tribute to their fellow knight to conclude services.
