FARMINGTON — Titcomb Mountain in West Farmington has special hours starting Saturday, Feb. 16, and continuing during school vacation week.

On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday the mountain will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.; Saturdays 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sundays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Children’s activities are planned most days. They include a scavenger hunt, “lucky T-bar” and lollipop race. Check the mountain’s website, www.titcombmoutain.com for daily updates of activities and conditions.

Titcomb Mountain will have two ski free events during the week. The first is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, sponsored by the medical staff at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

The second is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, sponsored by Franklin Savings Bank and Western Maine Financial Services.

Northern Lights Rental Shop is offering equipment rentals on a first-come, first-served basis for $5 per person during both events.

Student Night is Feb. 16 and 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. Students may purchase a lift ticket for $10 and equipment rentals for $8.

Titcomb Mountain is also offering deals on day tickets and trail passes.
