Phlebotomy with CPT certification: Get nationally certified in 10 weeks as a phlebotomy technician by professionals in the industry. This course is all-inclusive and in-depth. Payment plans are available. Call 1-866-516-8274 for more information and official start date.

Become a hospice volunteer: A free 21-hour course will prepare participants to support patients and their families in very meaningful ways. A fascinating exploration into hospice and the unique and comforting approach to care for the mind, body and spirit at the end of life. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 5 to 8 p.m.

Interested in learning more about autism? “Looking Beyond ‘Labels’ to Our Strengths” will give participants an opportunity to look at autism more in depth. Time will be spent viewing and discussing a film based on the life of Dr. Temple Grandin, who is a noted autistic, author, consultant and professor at Colorado State University. Monday, Feb. 25, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Zumba: Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness. A certified instructor will lead one hour of mixed impact dance combined with toning movements for a full body workout. Tuesday/Thursday, Feb. 26, 3:45 to 4:45 p.m.

Six feet under, funeral choices: Class will talk about home funerals, green cemeteries, natural burial, advance directives, scattering ashes, pre-planning and prepaying, the “Funeral Rule” (a federal law), some different coffins (including plans for building your own), paperwork, alkaline hydrolysis, family burying grounds and anything else that comes up in the conversation. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 6 to 8 p.m.

Art of watercolor: This class is right for beginners to semi-pro. Art instructor Barbara Hathaway, “Painter of Sunsets,” is a certified registered teacher with the Michael Wilcox School of Colour. The techniques used will quickly make landscapes with sky, sunsets, mountains, trees, water and reflections. Students work at their own speed and can use their own photos as inspiration. Supply list available upon registering. Tuesday, March 26, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Middle Eastern dance (belly dance): Try the ancient art form of belly dance for a fun, new way to get some exercise. Learn the basic moves; no prior experience is needed. Wednesday, April 3, 7 to 8 p.m.
